This coming Sunday, May 5 , is the Sixth Sunday of Easter with passages including Acts 10:44-48 and John 15:9-17. Our bell choir, the Bethlehem Ringers, will help lead worship.
Look ahead into May and June: +Pentecost is May 19 (please wear red!). +Our next (Zoom) Book Group starts on Tuesday, May 21. We'll be reading, "The Good Funeral: Death, Grief, and The Community of Care" by Thomas Long and Thomas Lynch. Please find a book and let Pastor Karsten know that you''d like the Zoom Link. This group will meet each Tuesday at 7 pm through June. +We'll have a potato bar dinner on Wednesday, May 22 at 6 pm. Please plan on bringing toppings of your choice. All are welcome! +We'll have strawberry shortcake outside in the BIC playground after worship on Sunday, June 2. +We'll have the first of three discipleship forums after worship on Sunday, June 9. For this Sunday we'll explore the important role of doubt and curiosity within our faith. In July we'll explore the role of trauma in shaping our faith and in August, we'll discuss the power and challenges of forgiveness.
